The Cunninghams' love story began before they even met. It was the friendship between their parents that eventually led to them meeting and dating in high school. They celebrated their marriage in Santa Fe, NM because it has been a family vacation destination for as long as they could remember. They would not want to celebrate their marriage anywhere else.
We kicked off the wedding weekend at a tattoo shop and documented them getting their iconic “444” tattoos. We played in the fresh snow, hiked through the scenic mountains of Santa Fe, and finished the night off at their cozy and intimate rehearsal dinner full of sweet childhood memories. Oh and of course got them officially hitched the next day at their wedding.
The Dies are high school sweethearts and have been dreaming of their wedding day for as long as they can remember. The day was marked by Mariah’s creations as the entire bridal party was adorned in dresses she made herself. The day was filled with so much love and sweet family moments, but also one of the craziest after parties of our career.
This elopement idea was born as Irene and Elisha were road tripping back home and stopped at the White Sands to take in the out of this world views. As they explored, an idea began to grow in their hearts. When the time was right they wanted to return to this exact place to say their marriage vows with only their closest friends and family.
The day before the wedding we explored the dunes to choose the perfect spot for their intimate ceremony while listening to Irene and Elisha’s stories of how their elopement came to be. The wedding day played out in stunning brilliance and culminated in a trip down the road to end the night at Del Taco. Wedding days should be filled with love, sweet memories, and tacos.
The McGregors met while working at Southwest and quickly fell in love. They told us they didn't want your typical wedding film. They wanted their film to be totally upbeat to reflect the absolute party they would be throwing. To achieve this vibe we interviewed the entire wedding party which gave the film a personal and slightly unhinged touch.
